The SykTek® Well app

Research-grade digital support, designed for real-world practice

SykTek® Well provides structured, evidence-based tools that extend the reach of personal care — supporting users between sessions while generating meaningful data for clinicians.

How it works

A platform built around clinical workflows

SykTek® Well is designed to integrate with existing clinical practice. Users engage with structured modules between appointments, while clinicians gain longitudinal insight into patient progress.

SykTek® Well

Self-monitoring

Validated assessment and wellness tracking

Users complete structured physiological and cognitive tasks based on previously validated research. The subjective wellness quiz is based on a psychometrically validated instrument originally used to monitor diabetes patients. Data is captured longitudinally, enabling users and clinicians to identify trends, flag deterioration or improvement, and tailor intervention accordingly.

Clinical integration

Clinician dashboard and patient oversight

In future versions of the app, clinicians and users will be able to access a dedicated dashboard providing an overview of patient engagement, symptom trajectories, and module completion — supporting informed clinical decision-making at every appointment.

Using the app

How SykTek® Well works

SykTek® Well is designed to be straightforward to set up and use daily. The steps below outline what users need to do to get started and make the most of the app.

01

Download and install

SykTek® Well is available on iOS. Once tested, the app can be downloaded from the App Store. The app can be accessed for testing purposes using TestFlight after an email address and username are sent to the developer.

02

Accessing the app

The app is accessed using facial identification. Access to the user's data by other approved people, including a clinician, are yet to be implemented.

03

Run your daily assessments

Each day, complete the short set of physiological and cognitive tasks — heart rate, tapping, visual tracking, and short-term memory — along with the wellness quiz. The full session takes approximately five to ten minutes.

04

Review your trends

After at least two weeks of data have been obtained, the app begins identifying statistically significant trends across your measures. Review your longitudinal charts to understand changes in your wellness over time. This information will be useful for medical advisors.

05

Share with your clinician

In future versions of the app, clinicians with authorised access can view your longitudinal data through the clinician dashboard, supporting more informed conversations at each appointment.
